The mission of the Dorcas Society of Hollis & Buxton is to do good works in the community, and promote opportunities for higher education to one student each year entering the field of teaching. Our goal is to pay it forward while carrying on traditions of the past.
The Dorcas Society is an historic non-denominational charitable, literary, social, non-profit organization founded in 1897 by Kate Douglas Wiggin.
