About
We are a fellowship of Christians who are bound together through faith in Jesus Christ. Our comfort to live day by day, even in the face of death, is to know that we do not belong to ourselves but to our faithful Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. It is He who calls us as His sheep and has paid for all our sins by taking them upon Himself to the cross. He has set us free from the wrath of God and bondage to Satan and sin. This does not mean we do not sin, but, in Jesus the Christ, we have found grace and mercy and, in the church, people to lovingly hold us accountable.
We believe the church is made up of God’s elect from the beginning of time to the end of the world, who have been redeemed by the blood of Christ. The church is not wood and stone but sinners who have been born again by the Spirit of God to be His holy people.
We are not a body of ‘perfect people’, indeed we struggle with sin and weakness like all others. But it is because of this that we see the church as a necessity in the life of the Christian to encourage and help one another, even as we are taught in Holy Scripture. “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24,25)
You are invited to join us to joyfully worship such a great God in spirit and truth. Our desire is for our worship to be simple, sincere, beautiful, and dignified, reflecting the Holy God we worship. God is the audience, not us. The Word of God and God Himself are the center of our worship.
