Starboard was founded in late 2009 in Dickinson, North Dakota. In March of 2010 the first store opened in the Prairie Hills Mall in Dickinson. In 2013, the Dickinson store relocated within the mall to a larger storefront where it resides today, nearly 10 years later!
In 2014, after several years of planning, Starboard opened it’s second location in Williston, North Dakota. Opening day was Thanksgiving in 2014. The store is located across from Menards, behind Sakura, on the East side of the building.
Our mission is to provide our customers with a comfortable, safe, social environment in which to purchase recreational sports equipment and apparel. Our company’s success will be measured by our involvement and acceptance within the community.
