2021 Annual DICKINSON AREA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION Update Our Mission: To improve the quality of life for residents through charitable giving and philanthropy to make lasting and beneficial investments in the Dickinson Area. Established in 2016 by a group of local residents Total assets in our permanent fund (as of 11/30/21) $134,090 Grants Awarded in 2021: $7,500 to Connect Medical Clinic for mobile services and education $4,850 to the Dickinson Rotary Club for scholarships $4,000 to Second Chances Volunteers for the Forever Full Pet Food Pantry $3,919 to Dickinson Public School District for their Leaping into Literacy Elementary Reading Program $1,934 to Women Empowering Women for their Well Women Care Project $1,000 to the Dickinson Chamber of Commerce for their Leadership Dickinson program $640 to the Dickinson Hockey Club $600 to the AMEN Food Pantry for their new security system Also supporting other community initiatives, including the Friendship Park Playground project, the Little Buddy Foundation, and the Stark County Association of Deputies Special Project Fund Can you help us grow our Foundation? Gifts to the Dickinson Area Community Foundation are tax deductible and will benefit our community for countless generations. Individuals that give $5,000 or more and businesses that give any amount to may be eligible for the 40% State Tax Credit.
