We are the only medical school in North Dakota. The four-year Medical Doctor (MD) degree has been offered since 1976.
We admit 78 medical students each year.
In the mid-1990s, the UND School of Medicine changed its name to reflect its diverse program offerings, which includes Athletic Training, Medical Laboratory Science, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant Studies. A Master of Public Health program was added in 2012.
