Friedt Herefords is located near Mott, in beautiful Southwestern North Dakota. This family run operation started with the purchase of yearling heifers in 1977 when Gary was a junior in High School. Gary & Kirsten are the 4th generation living and raising their family on the farm. The crew of family at Friedt Herefords includes Aaron Friedt, Lindsey & Drew Courtney, and Megan & Dusty Dukart. Our goal is to raise functional and efficient cattle that will thrive in a commercial herd atmosphere. We believe we are using the highest quality genetics and performance in an eye appealing package. These cattle are the kind that will add pounds, give big rib-eyes, and marbling the feedlots are looking for. Performance and ultrasound data is used to reaffirm our results. Easy calving, good milking cows are also a must in our herd.
