GENERAL MANAGER The Board of Directors of Goldenwest Electric Cooperative are searching for qualified candidates for the position of General Manager. To be considered, candidates must have experience in administration, operations, or management in the electric/energy utility industry. The successful candidate will start on January 1, 2024 and should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of leadership and must be a person of high integrity. The position requires team-building and strategic thinking to lead the cooperative. Knowledge and familiarity with the cooperative model with a broad background including financial operations, USDA-RUS financing, budgeting, strategic planning, power supply, public relations, employee relations and community involvement is desired. The GM must represent the cooperative to the owners and community as well as other affiliated organizations. Goldenwest is based in Wibaux and delivers electric power to more than 1,600 meters in eastern Montana and western North Dakota.
